IRFU Training Portal Gainline
The first main learning topic for the will be ‘The Role of the Touch Judge’. The IRFU Touch Judge Course is now open in the Referee Development Resource section of Gainline. I would urge all involved in refereeing to log in to Gainline and start the course. It should take about 45 minutes to complete and is an essential part of the referee development programme for this season. To access the course log in to Gainline here , choose Referee Development Resource in My Courses, then select Content. You will see IRFU Touch Judge Course in the left hand column. When you first take the course there is a score based quiz at the end which requires you to correctly answer 8 out of 10 questions to pass. You can revisit the course at any time to refresh your knowledge of the content.
Other focus topics for later in the year will be ‘Game and Player Management’ and ‘The Set Piece – Scrum and Lineout’.
